Irish Fiction Friday: Follow Woolf to Ireland

It’s Friday, so it must be time for some Irish Fiction! Except we’re not taking you to a work of fiction today. Instead, we’re showcasing Blogging Woolf’s journey to Ireland to follow in the footsteps of Virginia and Leonard Woolf. The Woolfs made their visit in 1934 and fell in love with the country, so much that they considered buying a house in Glengariff, County Cork.

Blogging Woolf used Virginia Woolf’s diary to follow that journey. Using a mixture of their own photographs and quotes from Virginia Woolf’s diaries, they brought Woolf’s trip to life and showed off the beautiful places around Ireland that modern visitors can still visit to follow in her footsteps.
