Participants are the heart of the Dublin 2019 programme, and we are assembling a talented, engaging, and knowledgeable group of participants who represent the best that our diverse and creative community has to offer. This is YOUR convention. Be this your first Worldcon (or convention!) or your tenth, whether you see yourself as a traditional or transformative fan, a new creator or returning professional, we are interested in hearing from you.
Thank you for all of the great suggestions we’ve received for programme items on so many topics. We’re now at a late stage in the planning process and have taken down the form for suggesting new ideas. But you can still engage with us via volunteer service as a programme staff member or as a potential programme participant.
Our academic programme track is looking very interesting, and we have had a fantastic response to our call for papers. We have also published a call for posters, and more poster submissions are welcome! Please get in touch with us via:
- Request to be a Programme Participant – 17 March 2019
- Academic Call for Papers and Posters – 6 March 2019
Everyone who applied to be a programme participant by 17 March 2019 should receive a decision on acceptance by the end of April. We will consider potential participants who apply after 17 March on a case by case basis.
Dublin 2019 is sure to be magical, and we are looking forward to creating a fantastic programme with you. For an exciting preview of people already confirmed as appearing on the Dublin 2019 programme, take a look at our programme participants list.
